Resolution on 21st century land reform passed at the AWP People’s conference on land, ecology, development and displacement. The resolution consisted of the key demands emerging from each of the panel discussions in ranging from global finance, real estate and the new colonialism, resource extraction in the peripheries, Bahria Town, urban expansion and indigenous rights, katchi abadis and the affordable housing crisis, war and land conflicts in ex-FATA, 21st century enclosures and the politics of land acquisition, and building an Islamabad for the people.
